Bota Bota x Le Pont

Every year during the holidays, Bota Bota employees invest themselves in several organizations to give some of their time voluntarily.

It was on Saturday, December 14th that several Bota Bota employees and some of their friends gathered in the basement of Notre-Dame-de-la-Consolata Church to lend a hand to the association Le Pont. It welcomes asylum seekers, especially women and children, in search of a better future.

This very special day was dedicated to thanking its many volunteers and to offer old and new families a little Christmas magic.

Following the setting up of tables and chairs, it is a decoration workshop which quite naturally took place, thanks to our talented sailors, happy to share their knowledge. Several garlands of crepe and a multitude of smiles later, the room was finally ready to welcome with open arms the families registered for the event.

This was followed by an afternoon of games, creative workshops and relaxation, lulled by Christmas songs. The long-awaited appearance of Santa Claus and the Star Fairy certainly did not gone unnoticed. Gifts (donations from several companies) were given to children and their parents with the bonus of a souvenir photo alongside the man in red and the glittering woman.

The day ended with laughter, dance steps and a few friendly hugs.

The Bota Bota team is proud to be able to participate in events like this one, in order to give back to the many communities of Montreal. Well-being also requires self-giving.

A special thanks to Arthur Durieux and volunteers present on site and Thibault Carron, our photographer that day.
